ARTIST STATEMENT

My images are a way of telling the stories of cowboys’ day to day life on a small working ranch in Northern Nevada. This project also speaks about me, how I see the beauty and grace in the interactions of humans and the animals they depend on to survive. More than just pictures, these images are my interpretation of those unique individuals who choose to make the cowboy life their own, while preserving the traditions of a quickly disappearing culture.
